  1. Many people have had this problem, the only things that fix it to my knowledge is a server restart, or holding out your toolgun until it loads, sometimes it doesn't even load.
  2. @Shlock is great player and staff member, I especially liked the time recently when he got my money in coin flip .
  3. @Dandy so far is an excellent and funny mod/player. He's as well active most of the time, and I personally enjoy whenever he's online and I liked his cool and chill personality. Hopefully you understand why I say this. <3 Dandy - Revolver Ocelot (Revolver Ocelot)
  4. I'm sorry to hear that ;(. If you fixed the issue, that's pretty good, but if the issue is still persisting and you want to get rid of this: Fixing Method 1 (Manual): Don't type in exec boost_on when launching Garry's Mod Fixing Method 2 (Automatic): In autoexec.cfg in the GarrysMod/garrysmod/cfg, delete everything in the text document pertaining this: cl_threaded_bone_setup 1 cl_threaded_client_leaf_system 1 r_threaded_client_shadow_manager 1 r_threaded_particles 1 r_threaded_renderables 1 r_queued_ropes 1 studio_queue_mode 1 gmod_mcore_test 1 // mat_queue_mode 2 // Dies (If this is all that's in autoexec.cfg, just delete everything in autoexec, obviously .)
  5. Thank you for the reminder, now I remember it, adding it now .
  6. This is a short guide I know, but it's worth it. 1.) First copy this line of text and paste in in a .txt document: (Don't copy here) cl_threaded_bone_setup 1 cl_threaded_client_leaf_system 1 r_threaded_client_shadow_manager 1 r_threaded_particles 1 r_threaded_renderables 1 r_queued_ropes 1 studio_queue_mode 1 gmod_mcore_test 1 // mat_queue_mode 2 // Dies (Don't copy here) 2.) Then name that .txt: boost_on 3.) Then find the garrysmod directory, then place it in: GarrysMod/garrysmod/cfg 3.) You're done! All you have to do when you are in Garry's Mod type: exec boost_on.cfg or Paste the code into the autoexec.cfg file in the GarrysMod/garrysmod/cfg (This is so you don't have to punch in the code everytime you start Garry's Mod.) And watch as your FPS increases! (most of the time.) *Forgets to add what it actually does.* What it does: This basically increases the amount of cores the game runs on, like roast said (thank you for putting the answer down in the comments and reminding me.) The game default runs on one core, but with using this, it runs on multiple. Me personally I have had no problems at all using this method, but everybody is different. And it's not fully compatible and will most likely never be. So I advise you only to use this at your own hand.
  7. He's a great person as far as I know .
  8. So let's start off by explaining how to actually start this jackpot. You either want to win the most, or make more profit. Step 1: Determine the strategy you want to go for. There's many strategies I see people do, some luck based like going in last, going in first, but the one that works the most is teaming. A team of 3 - 4 people is hard to manage, but when the jackpot is at its most busiest state, it's very smart to have large groups. But if you want the most profit, but also gain more than usual, team up with one person. Step 2: How it works for the strategies. Strategy 1: No team mates. It's the best type of playing when it comes to profit, but in terms of winning... 30/100 chance, and if other people are teaming, you're screwed. Sometimes you win money, but you most of the time lose more then you gain. You can do whatever you like, just don't put too much money, I like to have a limit of money I can spend on jackpot. Strategy 2: One team mate. It's my personal favorite, especially in a dead jackpot. First, you team up with somebody you trust, you or your team member first put 300k, and advert the amount in the jackpot. Don't do it twice every 20 seconds, at least once every minute. Some people are aroused at this and come in. At the last minute, your partner shall bet the last 300k when it comes to 70% or past that point. Hopefully, you will win more then you did when you bet alone. Or for a faster jackpot, you can both bet 300k each, making it even more of a draw to go in the jackpot. Don't you just love when there's only 4% left in jackpot? Strategy 3: 2 - 4 more team mates. This strategy is only used in mass jackpot rolls. The jackpot money is flowing in seconds. You and your team just join the jackpot while everybody else does. You give your team a very small amount on top of the refund. You could also team up with one person, but making less of a chance to win. Step 3: ? Step 4: Profit. I don't guarantee this will work all the time, considering this is all randomized. But you will see a difference if you haven't tried this method. Hope you found this decent to your liking. This is very short, but can be useful. (P.S don't give too much out for refunds ;).) - Revolver Ocelot (Revolver Ocelot)
  9. Let me give you a quick rundown on why SYMMIJ, is a very nice player, no doubt about it. Let us get to the point now, shall we? SYMMIJ is currently one of the most chilled person people on the server. You cannot hear him angry with that voice that makes him sound a lot older than he really is . He's as well all together approachable and has a high attention span. He can also be very generous and nice, checking that of the list. Of course, he's truthful, and overall just a fantastic person in general in-game, on duty, and on forums. You cannot find anything wrong with him . (Hopefully not yet.) Overall, SYMMIJ, "You're pretty good."
  10. @Sprickles is one of the most helpful users on this server, helping me countless times, never being disrespectful. As well, friendly and always patient. Forgot to add, "Hey, you're pretty good." (Why aren't you admin yet...) - Revolver Ocelot (Revolver Ocelot)
  11. (Please read entire thing, again.) Thank you for reading! Oh, why does Quiet not talk too kill Big Boss? It is because she will die if she speaks English, she releases the parasite from herself, (the parasite by the way, gives her all her super natural powers, she only can harness it because she knows how to speak a certain language that the Code Talker knows, shown below: (Quiet actually is a pretty interesting character, because you can kill her and this would've never happened...) This is explained through a private conversation between him, Code Talker, and Quiet. Ocelot knows that Quiet is in love with Big Boss, well, not Big Boss, when he is not Big Boss, he is Venom Snake you find out wit the... ending... Ocelot knows because she has a "look" that he had, because he fell in love with Big Boss also, because he is homosexual, and he likes Big Boss in MGS3. Even in MGS4, the final fight with Revolver Ocelot, Ocelot kisses solid snake on the cheek and that raises his SP or something along those lines. Hope you found this quick put-together useful to your Metal Gear Solid information in your brain... And remember: Revolver Ocelot: You're pretty good. (Revolver Ocelot) Sorry Bowman, my finger on the enter button must've slipped. You've should've been in the system (MGS5) a long time ago...
  12. (Please read ENTIRE thing thank you.) Why he kills his men? Well there was a vocal parasite that skull face was trying to release with the help of psycho mantis and Volgin from MGS3 (Man on Fire.) (By the way, the only reason Quiet doesn't talk is because she knows English, but skull face gave her the parasite and told her to speak English to Big Boss, killing Big Boss. At the secret mission 47, reach highest affinity with Quiet and she saves your life, by speaking English, but by releasing the Parasite, she has to contain it, probably died containing it from others to get it as well.) If you didn't know, Volgin, shown below: He is the man on fire... From the beginning of the game the guy with the the flamekinesis shown below: Any who, when the man of fire couldn't kill him, they sent Quiet, but she couldn't do it either, she fell in love with Big Boss. Then, Skull face gets man of fire and psycho mantis to try to kill Big Boss, doesn't work. Finally, the get the Sahelanthropus, the huge Metal Gear, working, and even that failed, kill Skull Face, not really, Huey does it. But hey! you get the... Um... Ending at least. Not done yet! Just a little more to the point! The entire reason why they say to quarantine the men is that any of them that speak Kikongo have the vocal core parasite. The men get infected, they blow up the outskirts because the infected men were coming out of there. They had the green thing in their throats, making them a infected target, having to kill them before they torch the place. It's wrong and Metal gear Solid 5 represented this pretty good. But the ending is okay, not very shocking, considering what you've done. (So I'm just a random bad Big Boss surgery clone? Okay!) This is what the virus looked like: and (Kills all the infected men in the brig, "Alas, my finger must have slipped...") - Revolver Ocelot (Revolver Ocelot)
  13. Thank you for replying. I've actually played the entire Metal Gear franchise before MGSV, yes I know, MGSV's ending is disappointing to some extent (Big boss kills his men, finds out Big Boss isn't Big Boss.)
  14. You're not the boss are you? Ah, whatever, I didn't like him anyways. This is a guide to people that like to get raided a lot less, not to people who like to build big and powerful bases. Part A: Picking your base. Step 1: Have you ever stopped around, finding that every good place in the map is taken up by other people? Well, you're here anyways so let's continue. Me personally, Major Ocelot to you, prefers to base somewhere hidden, in a little crevice under a rock kind of person. You don't want an area which is too crowded or near spawn, making a easy target for a raid. You don't need all those fancy fading doors. In the suburbs is a good area, but the greatest area is behind buildings that aren't being used. Step 2: Getting members for your small base is a big improvement if raiders find your base for some reason... Anyways, more firepower for a base without many visible defenses is what you should desire. Cannot get any members to join? If a slot is available for becoming a mob boss or leader of a group, it's always easier to convince your own men to join you, anybody you hate should join. But if you're partner smells of motorcycle gasoline, you shouldn't trust them. Part B: Hiding your Big Boss DNA and 1 billion dollars. Step 1: Don't put any visible barricades on the windows if there is any, to make it look like the house is not owned. Do not put fading doors, but you should be able to fit some furniture in your place. If your place is too small to fit any furniture, it must be very small, therefore most people won't even find it. Step 2: Be weary of raiders, you should check on your base in at least an hour after you made or stocked it with your goodies. In the first step, I said make sure there is room for furniture, but why? Well because (this is optional) putting furniture behind your printers / Big Bosses' DNA can be effective if your raider goes full retard, no offense, (this is pretty offensive,) they might not notice the printers behind the book shelves or underneath the stove. Ta-da! you created your hidden base, hopefully this works, but with a Markov at your side, you can kill any raider. Just kidding! That's more of a revolver technique... This is a very short passage, but sometimes can be effective. (Not a shit post, it's not a shit post please don't call it a shit post, and You're Pretty Good. - Revolver Ocelot (Revolver Ocelot) The Colt Single Action Army... Six bullets, more than enough to kill anything that moves.
