I think its important to know too that when it comes to mental health its such a personal experience therefore one solution that works for someone does not work another person. Ive struggled with my mental health a lot over the years, and as a result have turned to drugs which made things ultimately worse. I tried therapy and medication but neither worked. I thought I was doomed. I thought about taking my own life, I even planned it.
Looking back now it seems quite crazy where I was to where I am now. Two years of absolute hell, now I am the best I have ever been. I started going to the gym which I enjoyed, it was a hobby to keep me busy and entertained. I also started setting myself small achievable goals, like cook dinner for my family, go to the shop, code X today, learn X today, learn how to do this exercise today, up the weights today. I also spoke to my family and friends, about my worries and how I felt. Then gradually it started getting better. It wasn't instant, but it wasn't slow either. That is my story, and how I got out of the pit I was in. Your story will be different, but I can promise you there is always a solution. Just don't give up, keep trying to find it, keep trying new things and stay strong.

Before you comment there's topics on this already, I wanted to make a guide that contains everything. I am not gonna go through everything in detail since there are already guides written specifically on it. I just wanted to make something of my own.
 
THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO CLOUD GAMING
Welcome everyone to Cloud Gaming! Cloud Gaming is an English DarkRP server. What is DarkRP? DarkRP is a non-serious roleplay gamemode for Garry's Mod!
 
JOBS
The main part of Roleplay is taking on the role of different classes/jobs of people. Each class has its own purpose in game. The main classes/jobs you will find on the server are: 
  Citizen (Default job) ; Civil Protection (Police) ; Gangster ; Gun Dealer ; Hobo ; Miner
 
Citizen> Obey the laws and free roam around the city doing whatever normal people do. 
Civil Protection (Police)> Enforce the laws and make the city secure by stopping crime and illegal activities. 
Gangster> You're a gangsta, you don't follow the laws. I mean why would you even??? You hard earn your dough by printing it and selling weed or even stealing someone elses. 
Gun Dealer> You sell guns to the fellow people in your city, doesn't matter if its a criminal or a cp. Who even cares, guns for everyone!
Hobo> You spend your life begging on the street for money, you build on the street so and consider everything your house. Poor little man... 
Miner> Gold, gold and more gold. You constantly think of finding good ores and becoming rich! Not a bad job really, just a legal way to make money.
Each job has its own salary. There are many other jobs as well as custom jobs but these are the ones that I think are the essence of DarkRP. Each job has its own specific set of rules, so make sure to read them before choosing your desired job. Custom jobs can be purchased with real life money and in-game money, it all depends on the person who is selling the custom jobs. Prices of the custom jobs are mostly from 20GBP to 50GBP. There are 2 types of custom jobs which are CP jobs and Criminal jobs. Most custom jobs fall into the "Criminal jobs" category. All custom jobs have permanent weapons that you get when you select them (SL8, USAS, M60, Double Barrel...) this all depends on the custom job that you have. Now after you read all of this time to make some dough!
 
MONEY
It's time to earn some cash! The most legal way you can earn big cash is to mine or sell guns, maybe even beg on the street hoping that someone will give you a million, like that's ever gonna happen. Now comes the illegal way to earn cash. The easiest way and most efficient one to earn cash is to print it yourself or to grow weed. You can also brew moonshine, make meth or even mine bitcoin. Mining and weed growing are the best ways to earn money if you're new to the server. Moonshine making is a job that requires you to just add the ingredients and the machine will do it for you, after it finishes you press on the moonshine and it automatically sells. Meth making is one of the harder jobs but its more rewarding. Mining bitcoin is a long term money making method, which means that it pays out after some time, not immediately after you buy it. Just take care of your money making entities, they can be destroyed or even stolen by other players.  At some point you decide to try gambling. This could lead you to becoming a rich player or could lead you to bankruptcy. To prevent your stuff from being stolen you must make yourself a base.
 
BASE
I am not gonna go through this in detail. If you want to learn more about this click on here  or here. A base is your home. It's a safe place to store your entities to prevent anyone from touching them. But still bases can be raided, you always must make sure that your base is good enough to protect yourself from CP's and other criminals. You can decorate it, make it look nice, place up defenses to prevent other players from trying to steal or destroy your entities.  There are many places on the map where you can make your own base. For a place to be considered as your base you must own its doors. Make sure to read the base rules so your doesn't get considered as a fail base. 
 
TOKENS, ACCESSORIES, RANKS AND PERMANENT WEAPONS
In this server we have a token system. What this means is that you get rewarded for playing on the server by getting tokens. You can also gamble tokens for a quick way to double them, or a quick way to lose them. Whatever you prefer. You can open cases that have in game items in them, you can try your luck on that as well. With tokens you can buy accessories to make your player look more richer and to make him standout among other players. There are also titles that you can buy which other players will see on your body. You can also buy ranks with tokens which give you additional benefits on the server, if you don't want to waste time earning tokens you can always buy the ranks in the servers shop on the website! Now here is the most important part, weapons. Buying weapons with tokens. All weapons bought by tokens are permanent and you will have them in every job you choose. You can also buy CS:GO knives and some CS:GO skins. Permanent weapons are a bit costly. The easiest way to get them is to gamble your tokens and have luck on your side.
Okay player, you are quickly learning about our server and DarkRP gamemode. Looks like it's time to decide on which side you are on.
 
GANGS
There are a lot of gangs on this server. But more popular gangs are (UM, DTT, TBL, Method and others). To easily join one of the better gangs you must introduce yourself to the player community and must be really active on the server. Each gang has its own gang level, and each level has its own perk. Some levels increase your gang member capacity, while other levels give you permanent gun, an additional printer and many other amazing perks. You can base with your gang players and with your allies. Just do not base with enemy gangs as this is considered traitorship. Two or more gangs can create an alliance. Being in a gang gives you a lot of benefits and can make you a popular player on the server. 
 
SKILLS
Skills give you more benefits on the server, you can view them by typing /skills. There are CP skills and Criminal skills. To unlock a skill you must have enough skill points which are earned by completing challanges on the server. You cannot obtain all skills on the server so be careful what you choose. My personal favorite skills are Double weed and Printer upgrade skills. Skills are really useful, some skills even get you to earn more money! There isn't much more to this skill system.
 
BECOMING A STAFF MEMBER
Got bored of being a regular player? I know how you feel. You can try your luck and apply for staff to become a part of the server management team. There are 4 staff ranks: Moderator, Administrator, Administrator+ and SuperAdmin. Each rank has its own job to do. Some ranks take months or even years to get! There are 2 extra things you can be as a staff member. You can mentor new staff members by learning them commands and learning them how to do their job or you can become an event staff which moderate and create events on the server.
 
These are the things you must learn/know before playing DarkRP to make your gameplay more interesting and to make it not boring. This guide will be updated and other stuff will be added to it. If you feel like something is missing feel free to PM me. I tried to make this guide short and not boring. The reason I am making this is to help out new players on the server.

In this guide I am going to give an overall look about KOS warning binds , how can you make them and when should they be used.
 
So I am going to begin by showing each rules these warns are under:
 
"2.12 KOS When KOSing someone you must give them atleast 5 seconds to respond (unless its a base with a KOS sign). This only applies when you are initiating the attack."
Civil Protection: "You must give 10 seconds of warning before arresting/killing someone unless they pull out a weapon/are shooting people/are wanted etc."
 
Tip: You can use voice but I recommend using chat as there are logs for this.
        Use /y to be sure the message reachs that person.
 
When should KOS warnings be used:
You should use KOS warns when you want someone to stop with a certain action like folowing you, aiming weapon at you, anoying you,etc.
 
Now that we have understand the rules lets see how you can bind keys too make warning:
To bind a text message to a keyboard key we need to use console-
You can enable console by going in the game options, then press "advanced" and "activate the programmer console" , you also go to the last option in the keyboard keys and set "activate the programmer console" to any keyboard key.
So now that the console is open , to make a text bind you need to use this template. 
Bind <key> "say Text"
Ex: bind rightarrow "say /y Stop following me or KOS [5 seconds]"
Now when pressing the rightarrow the respective text will show.

CSS Textures
When you first download Garry's mod you might have a shit ton of errors. You can either buy(If you don't already have it) CSS or you can download the textures offline.
A guide can be found here if you do not know how to get CSS textures installed, and here is another one if you like some visuals
After you do this you should have your textures.
Downloading the addons
All you have to download the addons is make sure you have downloads turned on in your settings which can be found in the 'Other' section in your options make sure it's set to 'Allow all custom files from server' if you have errors after loading in restart your game and retry.
DarkRP Basics
Now that you have your textures lets go over some of the basics.
The rules:
I know this one is pretty obvious but yet we still get new players who don't know the rules.
They can be found here. Just give them a quick read (It won't take very long) and if you're ever confused just give them a quick reread.
Setting up a base:
A guide on making bases can be found here or here
Setting up a base is very easy. 
First, go a job that can base (Thief, gangster, parkour etc.) then find a place that you want to base (This place must have an ownable door).
Buy the doors by either pressing f2 on the door or taking out keys and press right clicking.
To lock a door left click with keys, to unlock right click with keys.
After you own the doors you can get to building the actual base.
First, you want to put a building sign (This ensures you won't be raided). Make sure not to spawn any money making entities with a building sign up (It's a rule break)
After, you set up your building sign you can set up a little defense inside the base. 
Fading doors:
Here is a little guide on making fading doors (Might be a little old but is still helpful). Just make sure to set the hold length on the keypad to 0 (It will automatically set it to 4 seconds for you)
Advanced duplicator:
Now that you made your base you can save it. First you want to make sure everything is welded together (Either precision weld or normal weld works)
Then, right click on any prop with Advanced Duplicator 2 tool and it should copy everything (As long as it's all welded) 
After that go into the Q menu and press Advanced Duplicator 2 and right click on a folder to the right
Then, press save, name the file, then press the little blue save icon that looks like this.
Now that you have this dupe all you have to do to spawn it when you want is go into the Q menu, look in the folder you save the dupe in, right click it, press open, then make the sure you have the box that say 'Paste at original position' checked (It should be found under where you have all your dupes).
Skills:
When you join the server you are able to complete many challenges in order to buy skills
You can access the menu by typing !skills then access the challenges by pressing challenges in the top right.
Note: You can only earn 440 skill points from the challenges and every skill adds up to 1,950 in total. So spend your skill points wisely and don't buy something that you'll regret in the future.
Gambling
This can either be a very good way of making money or be a very good way at losing all your money.
Flips:
When you join the server you access to !flips. You can either join the flip or you can make your own. 
You have a 50/50 chance to either the double the money or lose it all.
Jackpot:
For jackpot you must enter a minimum of 25,000. Once the first person puts money in the jackpot will be drawn in 2.5 minutes.
The more money you put in the higher the chances of you winning the jackpot.
Token flips:
If you type !store then go to the 'Games' section you can find 'Versus' you can either put in the amount of tokens you want to gamble or you can enter one that was already made by another player. 
This is the same concept as normal flips. 50% chance to either double those tokens or lose them.
Spins:
If you type !spins you can enter any amount of money you want then you pick a color (Obviously you have less of a chance of winning the x14), but be cautious as there's a 'Nothing' option in the spin. So there is a chance you will lose all the money you put in.
Civil Protection
As a civil protection you are the protectors of the city. You uphold the law.
Arresting:
As a SWAT you get a shield, it can be easier to arrest someone if you hit them with the shield first then hitting them with arrest baton as the shield will stun them for a second or two and they can't run away.
But, be careful as you must give a 10 second warning before arresting and MUST attempt to arrest before killing unless they are an active threat to another CP/Civilian.
Raiding:
Before conducting a raid make sure you have a warrant. You can get a warrant by typing /warrant Name/SteamID reason. If you do not get a warrant then it is a rulebreak to raid the base. You are also only allowed to raid with other CP.
To open a door/fading door take out your battering ram, right click to ready the ram, then left click to batter the door.
Please note: The battering ram does have a cooldown and you can't just instantly open every door.
Mayor:
As a mayor you are the leader of town, you command all the CPs and you make the laws.
To add a law type /addlaw LAW
To remove a law type /removelaw LAW #
To reset all the laws to the default type /resetlaws
As a mayor you are able to start lotteries to start one type /lottery #### (Note: the max lottery is 5,000 unless you buy a skill to it to 25,000) 
To set the agenda type /agenda (What you want added)
To add another row to the agenda type /addagenda (What you want added)
If you want to clear the agenda type /agenda
Criminal
For money making as a criminal there are multiple routes you can take.
Weed:
To grow weed go gangster. 
Then buy a weed pot (Or 2) then buy a seed (Or 2) and combine a seed with a pot. ]
Wait 10 minutes for the weed to finish growing. After, it finished growing press on the pot (It'll say Ready to harvest) then press e on the bag of weed that drops out. You then want to take the weed to Gazza (Who is in industrial; You should get a waypoint on your screen)
After you sell the weed you will automatically be wanted by the police so be careful to avoid the cops.
Moonshine:
Go moonshine brewer, buy a moonshine brewer, then buy alcohol and dank juice and put both of them into the brewer.
Wait for it to finish then press E on the bottle to get 10,000.
Thief:
You can either print in your base or you can go out and raid. It's up to you.
Meth cook:
Meth cook can be a very good way to make money but can be very time consuming as you have to be constantly doing stuff pretty much the whole time.
Here is a little guide on making meth.
Mugging:
If you're a gangster you must have at least 2 people in order to mug someone. If you are another job that has the ability to mug you may mug by yourself.
To mug just find your victim then pull your gun or any other weapon you want to use then you want to either say in VC, /y or local chat "Mug drop 10k or die" 
Note: 10,000 is you max amount you can mug for.
Citizens
Civilians also have ways of making money, this isn't just limited to just criminals.
Bitcoin miner:
Being a bitcoin miner although takes a while to make your money back and you need quite a bit of money just to start after a while it is a good way to make money.
First spawn what you want to use. Example: Bitminer S2
Then you want to spawn a generator and a power lead. Take the lead and plug it into the bitminer server and then the generator. Then press E on the Bitminer S2 and type Mining start
Every so often you'll have to refuel your generator, you can do so by buying fuel.
You can also bind buying generator by typing in console
bind key "say /buybitminerfuel" 
Obviously change 'key' with the key you want to bind it to.
Gun dealer/Special arms dealer:
As a gun dealer you can sell many guns to other people, but as special arms dealer you can sell special weapons, such as RPGs, Grenades, bigger guns, etc.
Just setup a little shop then whenever someone comes in to buy a gun ask them what they want and if they want a single or a shipment. If they do, tell them a price (You can chose, but don't make it too high because then they won't want to buy it). After they give you the money you buy what they requested and give it to them.
Miner:
Go to the mine (You should get a waypoint on your screen once you change jobs) then got destroy some rocks to sell or craft stuff you can either type !mining or you can find Gertrude, the mining NPC, you can also upgrade your pickaxe in this menu to speed up how fast you can mine rocks.

With the new rank sync being added I thought I would make a little guide on how to do it, its pretty simple and shouldn't take too long, if you are already signed in with steam then all you should need to do is re-log in game and your rank should appear on the forums. The only ranks on the forums for non staff is either Members or UltimateVIP regular VIP does not hold a rank.
If you signed in with your email and didn't sign in with steam what you will want to do is go to account settings located just above shoutbox and next to your profile box, in a drop down you will see account settings, click onto account settings.

After clicking onto account settings you will be redirected, once at this page you will want to click on steam integration, and click sign in with steam once you have signed in with steam all you will need to do is login to the server and refresh your forums page, you should now have your desired rank in game and on the forums, if you do not then try re-logging on the server then refreshing the website once you have connected.

Hopefully this will help people out who are stuck on what to do with the rank sync, if you have any questions feel free to post them below.

my name is madman and im the person who jailed you. I had all the reason to jail you. you asked someone for a gun to kill a guy who apparently "scammed you". The person who scammed you was the person who built the ladder thing to the sky. The person you killed was a completely different person so therefore was RDM.

I killed someone for scamming me and I got jailed for RDM for it. I spent 3 minutes in jail waiting for another admin to come to report the mod "Madman" I was unjailed and said I can screenshare the video. The admin linked his account then said his discord was broken so I told him I would just upload to forums instead. After I was returned and rejailed for another 5 minutes by "Madman" after waiting the 3 minutes prior. Just power hungry in my opinion. @MadMan  
 

I've been playing a lot on this server these past 2 weeks and EHS Spooderman has been taking my reports all the time about rule breakers and he has really helped me solve the issues, he's really active and patient I'd love to see him as an admin keep up the great work Spooderman

When i first started out on CG and joined this awesome community and became staff myself, Ice always was there for me and other people answering every questions they had about rules, punishments etc. He is a ex-staff member two years back (I think), a mentor and event staff who knows what to do whatever the case and is very serious with his work here as staff.
I think that Ice Cube is the best Admin so far in this community and deserves more attention than he already gets for his inhumanly amazing work.
