Punishments are purely circumstantial, it’s up to whoever is dealing with the report if they want to punish you. But it is technically a rule break.

Strictly speaking following the rule book, crossfire is still classed as ARDM, therefore technically speaking, you could then shoot dead the person who shot you. Although, to RP properly, there’s no point shooting dead another CP, it could leave you eligible to be demoted by other CPs (for RP purposes) and it doesn’t help anyone. Best thing to do is to try get healed or accept accidents happen.
