Why can i hear the HL2 gunships playing in the background

Bacially in the background sound on CG i can hear HL2 sounds such as the gunships ect

I've tried Stopsound and that doesn't work, appaernlty this was a bug in 2016 but all the bug reports are hidden from then so i have no clue how to fix this?

I assume you're using the content packs and not the actual mounted content, because in that case it's because of that. There's no fix as far as I remember, but if you bought the games and mounted them without the content packs

Remember when this was a big thing in 2016 with all the combine fighting noises. Good times.

@jtwepiczombie locate the sound folders in all the texture packs. So hl2 ep 1 and 2 also CSS. Delete all the sound folders from each one and it will just use the nice standard good sounds
