Rulebreak?

So I learned from the "best" moderators on the server that if a law says "Weapons out is KOS/AOS", I STILL should give them a warning. How does that make any sense? I, along with countless others, do this all the time without any trouble, and now I get punished for it. I need clarification on this (If you are one of the two mods, please don't comment)

Exactly my point, for instance if there is no law saying "Weapons out is KOS/AOS" I don't even warn people to get them away from their hands since weapons aren't illegal

If its in the laws then no warning has to be issued - it is a citizens job to read them, if it isn't in the laws and they have a weapon out, technically you cant arrest them but you can warn them and then arrest them. I think...

You do not need to warn if the person is A. holding out a weapon, b. shooting people or c. wanted. You do need to warn for any other law-break.

if they have a weapon out and you haveto warn them thats like saying you MUST batonrush them, people who argue this are havin a laugh!

Also, @AESOP DOOM how are you planning on warning them if you're a sniper on a roof like a hotel, you don't know their name plus am pretty sure you can't 'pm @' so you won't know their name, pretty impossible no?

If the law would say that "weapons are illegal to be wielded within public perimeters" that would mean the cop would have to try for an arrest first or give them the warning to put the gun down, but as the law specify that you may be killed on the spot, it's the non-law enforcers job to make sure he does not wield a gun within public.
Killing the player in this occasion is perfectly justified.

For me KOS/AOS means the CP has an option, either Kill or arrest depending on what they think is right
