where is false demote rule

It's common sense not to demote to gain advantage/possibility to switch to that specific job and other things, no need for a rule about it to be honest

At the top of the MOTD rules it also states ''The rules are made to improve players experiences. Use common sense and do not try to loop hole these rules.
Staff have the final say in the matter even if it is not stated in the rules. If you have an issue with a staff member report them on the forums.''

Yes you could fall back on this however it’s a very shitty excuse for a rule. True that most rules like this shouldn’t be needed however it is still fairly annoying. Why should he get punished if he thought it was right and it wasn’t clearly stated in the rules? 
 

It depends what you demoted for really @hard drake. If it was something like “RDM” then it would be false as you should use !Report and get an admin to look at both cases. In this case you would be taking it into your own hands. Plus it is not fair for the person being demoted as he cannot say his side of the story. You wouldn’t kill someone because they killed you previously.

It kinda falls under the FailRP rule, it doesn't really need to be a rule, it's even common sense not to demote people for shitty reasons.
