Clarification on Rule 2.1 | Dark RP

Okay, so if during crossfire - a fellow SWAT colleague was hit by a SWAT colleague. Does that justify that SWAT member being killed instantly?

Does that also justify that SWAT member to be out-of-roleplay jailed for ARDM?

If so, RIP to every British Soldier blue-on-blue'd, they must face execution.

Strictly speaking following the rule book, crossfire is still classed as ARDM, therefore technically speaking, you could then shoot dead the person who shot you.

Although, to RP properly, there’s no point shooting dead another CP, it could leave you eligible to be demoted by other CPs (for RP purposes) and it doesn’t help anyone. Best thing to do is to try get healed or accept accidents happen.

Yes. You still shot them, no matter how much damage was dealt.

I didn't intent to RDM them, even if it is accidental - they didn't die, so it's not accidental / "Random Death Match".

How can you be punished for Acidental Death Match, if no one-died and it was a justiciable role-playable event?

Punishments are purely circumstantial, it’s up to whoever is dealing with the report if they want to punish you. But it is technically a rule break.

If that's the case, and you can be admin-jailed for accidental(in-roleplay) cross-fire that didn't result in death - this isn't a roleplay server.

It is a roleplay server. It's just not a heavily enforced role play server. It's semi-serious RP. Meaning that it's not always by the book. If you want a server where there's minimal administrative interaction go for it. But this isn't that server.

There's a big difference between minimal moderation, and obvious roleplay. Admin-jailing players for crossfire that didn't result in death, isn't serious RP - it's basic RP.

It still has affected someone's roleplay which were not involved in that situation. Yes it's nothing serious however if the person has reported it then it has affected them.
