Is the contender a good weapon?

From what I know it's a decent weapon if you can hit headshots. I think it has a fast reload speed too but I am not too sure.

Yeah it's ok, like Rz said, fun to use, not great.
If I pull it out when I scroll I usually fire 1 shot before I swap back to something else

Yeah Contender is a fun and good gun to use if you have a fast gun swap bind, Deals the same damage as the AW50/Intervention hitting up to ~210 to 180 Head Shot Damage, its single shot but it does reload for some reason when holstered so its great for multi use for something like the PKM/AK or any full auto gun. Spray with a full auto then line up a shot with the Contender switch then fire and switch back, wait about 2 seconds then switch back to the contender, its loaded and repeat. @Pepega#3
