Lost UltVip after resigning

I was wondering if the loss of Ultimate VIP, or any rank for the matter, after resigning from the staff steam is intentional or not?

if you did not have the rank before hand. or have not purchased it. the perks you get for being staff are gone after you have resigned/demoted.

I did own Ultimate Vip beforehand, I got it with Tokens
