Ads in media player

So I tried to play a fucking video on the tv that's 1 minute and 30 seconds long and I get ads, unskippable ads. And it's'not even 1 out of 2 ads. my longest one was 4 ads all 20 seconds long. Is there a way to disable ads? or just skip them?

This is all done by Garry’s Mod chromium branch. It was changed a while back to include ads - This isn’t just for Cloud Gaming but for Gmod as a whole. I’d assume Google / YouTube  sent a letter to the devs of Chromium as it was effectively a way to watch YouTube without ads. For now there’s no alternative.
