It was changed a while back to include ads - This isn’t just for Cloud Gaming but for Gmod as a whole. " THIS IS NOT TRUE If you join Cinema Servers they dont have Ads on their TVs & they're on Chromium aswell. Would love to get rid of Ads on Cloudgaming since Cinema Servers dont have ads either. If there was a way around it you could probably get into legal trouble so its probably not even worth the hassle Link to comment
Xappan Posted May 7 Report Share Posted May 7 I tried to look into this but info is almost non-existent. Well what I could find is that that particular cinema addon probably used an adblock youtbe as its source. There are little hacks you can do to skip ads on youtube by changing the url but none of these works as our addon only allows actual youtube links (and no other video site iirc). I do think that unless the background of the addon were to run an ad free site and accept links from there this is kinda impossible. Link to comment
Alfyus Posted May 12 Report Share Posted May 12 I don't think there's much Staff can do to remove ads from YouTube. Maybe other servers have a secret workaround but I can't find anything on Google Link to comment
