Hello and welcome to Cloud Gaming! This guide will teach you all of the information that you will need in order to play on our DarkRP server. As this is a big project, it will be updated every once in a while with a new chapter.

Don't forget that this guide will teach you the ways of DarkRP as it is played on our CG DarkRP Server. Rules and gameplay on other servers might vary. This guide will include everything you need, from base building and making cash, to fighting crime in the city. You will find everything here!

As I said, I will try and update this guide as much as I can! Starting with Basics and Rules. Our community already has a lot of wonderful guides; and if I want to integrate some, I will first ask permission to the owner of that guide and they will be credited for their help. The goal of this is that new players are able to go and enjoy the full RP experience after reading this, and minimizing the amount of rules being broken.

As there are a lot of criminals in the city, we have to insure that we are prepared for dealing with them. The best way to do so is to carry a gun and armour.
Getting armour is easy: you can go to the medic NPC near the fountain to buy yourself some.
Choosing a weapon is all your choice. You need to select something that fits you playstyle. Are you looking for a rapid fire rate or high damage firearm? Or maybe even both! For all of the gun statistics, feel free to look below. Before we do that, however, why don't we look at the choices made for by our community?

Not only did the Pump Shotgun, also known as the M3, get the award for CG's favorite gun, it was also voted the:

Now you have an idea of what weapons the community uses, but you will still have to choose a weapon that fits you. So, look at all of the statistics and find your future personal weapon!

NOTE: The Honeybadger and Tommygun will be added at a later date. These were nerfed on the server.

 

So, you have your gun equipped. But what if a gun isn't enough?

Well, we do have some heavier gear available: Explosives.

 

Explosives:

Whilst raiding and defending, weapons might not be enough to stop your enemies. That is where explosives come in.

There are 2 types of explosives on our server: the HE Grenades and C4.

 

HE Grenades:

HE Grenades are a fast way to surprise and eliminate several enemies at once. The centre of the blast will do approximately 150 damage, which is enough to eliminate anyone nearby. 

 

HE Grenades blast radius:

Note: Damage calculated with a target who has 100 HP and no armour

C4:

When you take this out during a raid, people are going to start running. Not only does it have a huge blast radius but it also does a magnificent 800 damage in the centre of the radius, therefore killing anyone or anything nearby! If that wasn’t enough, any survivors of the blast will also be shaken up, if they are near to the explosion.

Damage multipliers:

Damage is calculated in a variety of ways, with several factors. One of the major factors is what body part has been hit. You can do up to three times the original damage this way!

This is just amazing. Why aren't you CM already? Oh btw, correct me if I am wrong, but I am sure Glock 18 is fully automatic, not burst, and it has 32 ammo on each clip. I wish I could give an upvote, but damn limit. :(

Del, the reason some of the weapons are screwed up is because the pistols are not the CSS weapons pistols, they are the M9K weapon pack pistols.

Del, the reason some of the weapons are screwed up is because the pistols are not the CSS weapons pistols, they are the M9K weapon pack pistols.

 

I updated the pistols according to the M9K stats, but not much change really. The biggest one was indeed the 32 ammo clip but the rest of them are barely noticable, but i still changed it.

 

Also, i'll have to keep the same models because i seem to have lost the template for the guns (damnit.).
