As some of the Law Enforcment people, are often not trained on situations (Completly Newcomer's, Not familiar with DRP). I'm gonna make this guide so we get an proper Law Enforcement Team. Step 1: Calling Them So the first thing is, to call them. This sounds easy but sometimes they dont come. In this situations "threaten" them. With that i mean, that you should say for example: "If you guy's dont come in 5 minutes you will get demoted!" WARNING! IT IS POSSIBLE THAT IF YOU REALLY DEMOTE THEM THAT THEY THEN REVENGE DEMOTE YOU! Step 2: Formations You should do formations. What are formations? Formations are that you get in an "Special Order", like an line. I'm gonna present you some important lines: °Means Player -Means VIP/Commander/Leader/Hostage *Means crouching Player/VIP/Leader SINGLE LINE/COLUMN: - ° ° ° ° Double Line/Column - ° ° ° ° If only 3 people - ° ° ° On this Formation, the Commander/VIP shall be able to pass through the Squadron Diamond Formation ° °-° ° On the Diamond the Hostage/VIP shall not be able to pass through the formation. This is an perfect method to escort people safely. (It can be hard to escort them so train it with your're Squadron Firing Line °°-°° If only 4 people °-°° or other If only 3 people °-° If only 2 °° (Firing Squad ** °° If they look to their Left: *° *° If they look to their Right: °* °* If they look below them °° ** Wedge/Pyramide - ° ° ° ° You shall be able to pass through. Formations are done. Step 3: Faces The faces can be used in situations where they shall look at one specific please and not elsewhere. Left Face: 90°(Degrees) to their Left(Not you're Left) Right Face: 90°(Degrees) to their Right(Not you're Right) About Face: Turn 180°(No matter to which direction, except if you order an specific direction) Front: Look at the Commander. Step 4: Rules It is important that they know, that they should not always kill everyone. Killing is in DarkRP the most useless method if someone is wanted. So firstly tell them this: /wanted is when you shall kill or arrest someone. You may not search his house for illegal items. /warrant is when you may arrest someone. You may search his house for Illegal items. If someone breaks an law(For example, shooting in Public or other) then do this: Take Weaponchecker. Press Rightclick on the accused player. If he moves you may arrest him (Warn him) For this do an Diamond Formation on him After the Rightclick is done, you escort him in the Diamond formation to the PD. There you ask him what he did false. Then you may ask an penance of the player(Money to get the guns back). After that warning, you may arrest him. Step 5: Situations You shall teach you're team on following situations: Law breaking(Check Above) Raid: On an raid you try to get not loudly into the suspect's Base. You go on an Firing Line(Or other) You go in an Single Line(Or other) in the room with printers/Illegal Stuff/The accused Person. Then you dont kill the person(Only if needed kill him) try to arrest him. Raid with an hostage: All of raid. Try to find an escort the hostage in an diamond formation Step 6: Squadrons Squadrons are small teams, which have an special mission Here an example of Squadrons: Alpha Squadron: Raiding Squadron(Or other) Beta Squadron: Patroling Squadron(Or other) Charlie Squadron: Escorting Squadron(Or other) You may make more than these Squadrons with different missions. All Squadron has an Leader. He makes /job Alpha/Beta/Charlie/etc... Leader Normal Members: /job Alpha/Beta/etc... S.W.A.T Medic: /job Alpha/Beta/etc... Medic Sniper: /job Alpha/Beta/etc...
