Annoying glitch

Basically whenever I highlight a building I've made with the easy weld it appears like the whole thing has been selected (this happenes on both auto select and manual) but doesn't copy the whole of it and I basically end up with a base without a wall or roof. Anyone know what to do?

Oh the Smart Weld tool? If so just go on the Q menu on Smart Weld and it should say radius or something like that and move the slider all the may across, also make sure you are copying and welding it right. Weld all of the props to a single prop, then when you go to save your base, shoot the adv dupe gun at the prop where everything is welded to. Those are just the things that i kind of learned while using the Smart Weld tool, its so good
