How does the entity scanner work

It's used to check bases/buildings for illegal entities, which then gives you a valid reason to raid the property.

well yeah i know that, but does the scan go through props and can it go through unbreakable glass ( Ex: The building with the Elevator, residential,  floor 2)

I don't remember 100% but it should scan through everything you point it at.
