  1. Initially I thought he might be a bit bias and edgy based off previous impressions I can't remember how that image built up in my mind, but I was in a sit with him and he's proven to me he's very honest, cares about each individual player and acts purely for the sake of the server. Great guy.
  2. It's not really something that can be helped, it's just a suggestion but I didn't want to post it there as I thought it could come across as rude. When admin jails people in between raids without teleporting them away it really ruins gameplay as it obstructs everyone else.
  3. Hi all, I could've put this in guides or suggestions but it's neither relevant as me a player giving a guide to an admin is extremely cocky and rude, and likewise with a suggestion. So realistically help is the most relevant, so please can you help us, the player base by being more considerate and attentive to where you jail a player. I was raiding a base yesterday and the admin jailed a swat raiding with us in the middle of the raid, causing us all to get trapped and he didn't even pay attention to it for ages, literally minutes., enough such that their NLR timer expired and they could come back. That's out of order. Hugely out of order. Please, use jailtp if they're in a raid or proximate to other players. The base being raided was the ZFG Base, and the admin who did that inconsiderate jailing was a member of ZFG too, ZFG something beginning with R. I was going to report him for this and potentially gang ties as an admin. I have a screenshot saved on my computer and was going to do a complaint but I didn't have the name showing in the jail, or the admins name to match it as I was too occupied with trying to get him to tp him elsewhere. I kept asking it who he jailed in the base so I could post a log with that but he kept ignoring me on OOC. Thanks for reading.
  4. I agree, proxy is a CM I trust in. And he knows the rules to without a fault. The others I was unsure, Nomad wouldn't even answer a question I had the bastard busy man! Bodman I didn't interact with but he seemed chill, genuinely.
  5. I didn't even see verydoges post I'm very confused, it was a friday morning at work must have been very tired. This is a highly urgent issue, I bet if one of your CJs was delayed for 6 months you'd be pissing up a wall crying every day you baby.
  6. @Nomad thought I'd bring this to your attention
  7. Hey @Nomad I didn't want to make a thread so thought I'd just ask you here as I feel there's a huge confusion surrounding it.

Basically take this scenario in the screenshot and imagine both windows haven't been welded.

Would I as an officer with a battering ram be allowed to knock one down using the battering ram to gain entry instead of using the door which is the intended point of entry?

It's easily preventable by welding (which could count as a strong reinforcement for realism) and battering rams are realistically meant to smash down doors, windows etc...

    Thanks you.

  8. I was wondering if Nomad or another SA could confirm whether or not the following is allowed formally as neither are really on the rules. 1) If someone doesn't weld their base together and you battering ram over a wall to make an entrance instead of the entrance they designed for example, is that allowed? I thought it was allowed personally, battering rams are able to knock down props so if someones not welded it isn't it their fault? As long as you're not destroying their base. Chucking this one in for extra clarification as someone who used to be mod and an Admin+ seemed to challenge me on this. 2) If you see someone with a gun out and having a gun out is illegal, can you still arrest them even if they put it away? Thank you, Jonathan
  9. @Xappan I've known you for ages under different names (SAMURAI FLAMENCO, Von Stroheim, THE LAW). You've always been fluent with your understanding of the rules and great when it comes to decision making. On top of that you make some fun or useful (or both) structures in-game. This is coming from someone like me who simply likes the cop-thief aspect of the server mainly so I hope you understand it's a big compliment the fact your RP out of that can engage me, simply put it's cool .
  10. But then I'm the cop and kill you for killing someone RIP

    Rule question

I got jailed for arresting this guy. He was harassing the mayors daughter, the mayors daughter is an unarmed government official who you basically you treat like the mayor, if someones harassing the mayor you weaponcheck him as it's suspicious behaviour. You can see he's explicitly harassing her when I observed it at the PD as the mayors daughter attempts to avoid him. So I weaponchecked him on that suspicion, but I gave a little leeway as I was unsure whether or not him and the mayors daughter were playing about, or whether or not he was actually harassing the mayors daughter. Once she asked us to take him away I decided it was time to immediately arrest him for having a gun whilst harassing the mayors daughter. Rule I weaponchecked him on "You may only weapon check someone without permission if you have a valid suspicion." And please remember this is DarkRP not real life when trying to argue about this. Thanks.
  12. It works, I used it years ago on ze original PERP for vertex errors. and edited out the forum etc... and copied the content
  13. This is mainly for those who get spammed in console with the following error message.Too many vertex format changes in frame, whole world not renderedThere is actually an extremely easy way to stop this from happening, it consists of three console commands to be entered simultaneously. They are as followed.con_filter_text "Too many vertex"con_filter_text_out "Too many vertex"con_filter_enable 2In addition you could also just enter it into the autoexec.cfg folder within your Garry's Mod config folder located atC:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\USERNAME\garrysmod\garrysmod\cfgby pasting the following lines into your file.// Vertex Error Filtercon_filter_text "Too many vertex" con_filter_text_out "Too many vertex" con_filter_enable 2If however you do not have this file you can just download the ZIP file attached to this post and extract it to the folder listed above.Kai. use the commands, con_filter_text "mod_studio: MOVETYPE_FOLLOW with no model" con_filter_text_out "mod_studio: MOVETYPE_FOLLOW with no model" con_filter_enable 2 add them to an autoexec.cfg if you cba to put them in console every time.

    Rule Question

This is about the 2nd door of P.D. I've always assumed unless specified by law it's not KOS/AOS, because with respect to the trespassing rule if that applied you could KOS everyone in the first room of P.D.(Technically the police/swat don't even own the building, just have access, as they're not property owners like with a house which can be shared) The way to remove someone from after 2nd door is tell them to go and if they don't then AOS/KOS them. But straight up AOS/KOS them without asking them to leave is RDM (on the basis there is no law) I've always seen it in line with other rules like being allowed to weaponcheck them in first room of PD and bank, they need to be specified. Is this the case?
  15. You set your hitprice to 5000 using the bind provided and you find someone to request a hit. Once they are in the middle of scrolling through the list of names, change the hitprice to 50000. This is rarely noticeable because people don't look at the hitprice twice. Oh come on dude that's unfair as f&%k haha Should be against the rules to be honest.
