Hello and welcome to Cloud Gaming! This guide will teach you all of the information that you will need in order to play on our DarkRP server. As this is a big project, it will be updated every once in a while with a new chapter.

Don't forget that this guide will teach you the ways of DarkRP as it is played on our CG DarkRP Server. Rules and gameplay on other servers might variate. This guide will include everything you need,from base building and making cash,to fighting crime in the city. Everything you need to know is here!

As I said, I will try and update this guide as much as I can! Starting with Basics and Rules. Our community already has a lot of wonderful guides; and if I want to integrate some, I will first ask permission to the owner of that guide and they will be credited for their help. The goal of this is that new players are able to go and enjoy the full RP experience after reading this, and minimizing the amount of rules being broken.

Now it's time we started to talk about one of the most important components in DarkRP: Money.

Most DarkRP servers, including Cloud Gaming does not have an active economy. This means that prices won't be affected by anything. There are many ways money can exchange hands or can be earned. Before we go into the actual making of money part, make sure you know these commands to trade out cash.

 

4.1 Using money: The Commands:

/dropmoney [Amount] : Dropping a money-bundle : Using this command, you can drop any amount of money on the floor. It will turn into an entity with the amount written on it. You can retrieve the money by pressing E on it. It will be stored in your pocket inventory and can be cashed in from there. (If your pocket is full you will get the money instantly).


/give [Amount] : Giving money directly : When pointing at a person close to you and executing this command, it will directly give them the money. Use this when you are in a public area where money-bundles can be stolen easily by thieves and similar jobs.


/check [Person] [Amount]: Dropping a check : This command will drop a cheque for a specific person. It works the same as a money-bundle, but can only be cashed in by the person it is written to.

 

 

4.2 How to make money:

 

 

There are tons of ways to make money, whether that be through salary, raids or jobs.
I will show you the basic money making systems. Do remember that being creative earns money too!

Try and come up with an idea that will make you a fair amount of money! Users in the past have made money from building bases, offering to help with stuff and creating knife - fighting arenas where people can gamble.

REMEMBER: Scamming is NOT allowed by the server rules and anyone caught scamming will be permanently removed from the server.

Making money: Using Salary:

Every now and then, you receive a salary that is based on your job. Some jobs earn more money than others. Hobos do not receive any salary, nor do hitmen. Your salary can be found under your total money.

Making Money: Criminal Activities:
Making money doesn't always mean it was earned by working fairly. Criminals in the city will try to steal your cash for their own use and benefit.

Mugging:

This can be carried out by:

  • A Thief
  • A Parkour
  • A Master-Thief
  • 2 or more Gangsters
  • A Mob-Boss and a Gangster(s)

Equipment needed:

  • A weapon with ammo : use this to eliminate the victim if he doesn’t pay or tries to escape.

Description:
Mug people for their money. Simply walk up to them and say something like: "Drop 1.000 dollars or I will shoot!”. If they do not obey your demands, you may eliminate them. f you are being mugged, the only way to defend yourself is with a gun in your pocket. You may not get a gun from your inventory.

Possible loot:

  • Money

Rules:

  • Players may only be mugged in private areas. (Ex: an alleyway or a house)
  • You may not harm the person being mugged if they pay what you demand.
  • The maximum amount you can demand in a mug is 1.000 dollars.

Raiding:

Can be done by:

  • A Thief
  • A Parkour
  • A Master-Thief
  • 2 or more Gangsters
  • A Mob-Boss and one or more gangsters

Equipment needed:

  • A weapon with ammo: Use this to eliminate enemies or people trying to stop your raid.
  • A keypad cracker : This tool allows you to open fading doors, aim this tool at the keypad and press once until the bar fills up and the fading door opens.
  • A picklock : This tool allows you to open the normal, wooden doors. Aim at the door and press once until the bar fills up and the door opens.
  • (Optional) A hacker : A hacker is a powerful addition to your team. He can instantly open all fading doors in the area, creating a free path to the loot.

Description:
You can break into bases and steal all of the loot inside. Eliminate all enemies that are in your way. You can also raid the bank and when it's fully charged, it can reach up to 60.000 dollars.

Rules:

  • You may not spawn props whilst raiding.
     
  • You must only eliminate possible threats, such as cops that are nearby.
     
  • Once you have died, you may not return to the raid. You may return to the area after 2.5 minutes and if the raid has failed you may raid again after 5 minutes.
     
  • You may not raid buildings that have a building sign.
  • You may not raid properties which clearly don't have loot in them.

Possible loot:

  • Money printers
  • Drugs
  • Money
  • Weaponry

Kidnapping:

Can be done by:

  • 2 or more Gangsters (They must not kidnap government jobs)
  • A Mob-Boss and one or more gangsters (They must not kidnap government jobs)
  • Terrorists and their leader. (They may only kidnap the mayor)

Equipment needed:

  • A weapon with ammo
  • A safehouse to store your victim

Description:
You and your crew can kidnap non-government people and ask for ransom, unless you are terrorists.If so, you need a ‘Terrorist Leader,’ which is a VIP job. Make sure no one notices you doing it or you may have a fight on your hands.

Rules:

  • Terrorists may only kidnap the mayor
  • Gangsters and their mob-boss may only kidnap non-government citizens.

Possible loot:

  • Money

Meth Cooking:

Can be done by:

  • One or more Meth cooks

Description:
With materials you can buy in the F4 menu, you create the components needed to make meth. You can sell the meth at the druggy, located near the park and chess area.

 

 

How to make meth:
Simply follow the steps as seen below. You can buy the basic ingredients from the F4 menu and you can mix them by touching them with the pot/special pot. You can cook pots by placing them on the stove, however this will consume gas. Gas can be recharged by placing a gas tank with one end into the stove and pressing E on it. Don’t forget: When you sell your meth to the druggie, you will be automatically wanted for drug dealing and the law enforcement might come after you.

Loot:

  • When 20 lbs is Meth is sold to the druggie, you will receive 36.000 dollars. The less amount of meth you give to the druggie, the less money you will receive.

Printing money:

Can be done by:

  • Any non-government job, unless placed in the bank
  • Bankers are the only job that can keep printers legally

Description:
Money is just paper right? So why not just make it yourself! Money printers will make an X amount of money every minute. Bankers are the only job that can keep printers legally. They can keep the printers for the public as well, for a small amount of the printed money.

Equipment needed:

  • A money printer
  • A battery for the printer (Every 5 minutes)
  • A safe place to keep them away from raiders

Rules:

  • Printers can be protected, but must always be reachable by raiders.
  • You may not disconnect to get your printers back.
  • Sparks produced by printers are no valid reason for cops and SWAT to make a warrant on you.

Loot:

  • Money: The amount depends on what kind and how many printers you have.

Hits:

Can be done by:

  • A Hitman
  • An Elite Hitman

Description:
You do the dirty work for people. Anyone can come to you if they want someone dealt with.
Use the equipment you receive to deal with your targets as fast as you can.
You can not change the price of a hit, the standard price is 15.000.
People can then press E on you and select their target. After that, it’s up to you if you want to kill that certain user.

Equipment needed:

  • A weapon with ammo

Rules:

  • Do not charge more than 50.000 dollars for a hit.
  • You may work with other hitmen.
  • You may have a base, but you still need to do your job.
  • Do not drop your sniper to keep/sell it.

Loot:

  • Money

Moonshine Brewing:

Can be done by:

  • A Moonshine Brewer

Description:
You brew the moonshine the city wants!
Mind that the cops don't like your brewing operation, and will try to stop you!
Use materials found in the F4 menu to create Moonshine. Simply drop the 2 ingridients into the brewery.

Equipment needed:

  • A property to brew safely.
  • Ingridients to brew with.
  • A brewery. 

Rules:

  • Your brewery equipment always has to be reachable by raiders.

Loot:

  • Money

Making money: Other job related ways:

Begging:

Can be done by:

  • Hobos

Description:
Well, you wasted all of your money. Now you have to live on the streets begging for bypassing citizens to give you a donation. You can try and convince them by playing music, but you'll have to hope for a good guy to come by.

Rules:

  • You may play music/sing only in one place with a textscreen stating that you are the one playing music.

Rewards:

  • Money from donations

Arms Dealing:

Can be done by:

  • A Gun Dealer
  • A Special Arms Dealer

Description:
With all of the criminals running around the city, there is a high demand for guns and other weaponry. That is where you come in. Set up a shop in town and wait for the customers to come in, but watch out, the government may make arms dealing illegal. So make sure you have a gun license ready!

Equipment needed:

  • A gunshop: Make sure that you can’t be raided easily!
  • A weapon with ammo: Use this to defend against raiders.
  • Access to weaponry: You can access all the guns available in the “Entities” tab in the F4 menu

Rules:

  • You must set up a shop to sell weaponry
  • You must sell to everybody
  • You may only have a shop with other arms dealers and guards.
  • You must not raid or mug
  • You can’t buy guns for self use

Guarding:

Can be done by:

  • Guards

Description:
Thieves and gangsters are all out for properties full of loot. To protect their properties, owners can hire guards to protect their bases. You can ask your employer for a price if you wish to work for them.

Equipment needed:

  • A weapon with ammo

Rewards:

  • Money
  • Chance to put down printers

There are a lot of jobs on Cloud Gaming’s DarkRP server. This means there are almost no limits to make money. I have given you the basic ways to make money using them, but there are a lot more! Use your imagination and skills to earn money! Create your own jobs and shops!

 

Mining:

Can be done by:

  • Anyone

Description:
The city is busy with building and progressing. And along the way lots of resources are needed, thats were you come in. Collect resources for the city and sell them for profit!

 

How to mine:

Step 1: Go to the mining area located between the gas station and the parking lot.

Step 2: The mining NPC will be seen on the parking lot. Press E while looking at him to access the mining system.

Step 3: Buy a pickaxe from the NPC.

Step 4: Equip your pickaxe and go to the rocks (near the NPC). Click once on a rock to start mining.

Step 5: After a few moments a message will appear in the chat saying if you collected a resource.

Step 6: When you are happy with your collection of resources, go to the NPC and sell them.

 

Equipment needed:

  • A pickaxe (Can be bought at the mining NPC for $2500)

Value of resources:

Rock - $100

Silver - $200

Gold - $300

Mold - $500

 

Rewards:

  • Money

Making Money: Betting:
Betting is for everybody. The rich to spend their money on something and the poor to try their luck to become rich. We have 2 systems to do such things on the server.

Warning: I know betting may seem all fun and stuff. But in reality, it’s a way to lose most of your money quickly when overused. If you want to use these systems, you can but I REALLY recommend you promise yourself to spend only a small amount. You’d be surprised how many people have already lost all of their cash using these methods.

 

The Jackpot system:

The jackpot system can be accessed by using the command !jackpot .
You need at least 100.000 dollars to participate.

How to play the jackpot:

  • Type the command !jackpot in the chat to access the menu.
     
  • Type an amount from 25K to 300K in the deposit box.
     
  • You can only bet once! Press “Deposit” to enter the jackpot.
     
  • You will see your percentage chance of winning below the red bar. The more you deposited, the more chance you had.
     
  • A short time after jackpot reaches 1.000.000 dollars, it will choose a winner.
     
  • A message in chat will be displayed who won, the amount and what the percentage was that they had of winning.

Rules:

  • You can only bet once
     
  • No refunds can be asked for when using the jackpot.

These are all of the basic ways of making money in DarkRP!

Add also that they cant warrant by hear it

You can buy Crates for $1000 and Keys for $4500

Yeah, crates are now $1500
