I don't understand what you're trying to clarify? If you accidently hit another person who you are not intending to hit then it's attempt rdm. If the person who was shot shoots you back, that's fine by them as you shot them.

Yes you could fall back on this however it’s a very shitty excuse for a rule. True that most rules like this shouldn’t be needed however it is still fairly annoying. Why should he get punished if he thought it was right and it wasn’t clearly stated in the rules? It depends what you demoted for really @hard drake. If it was something like “RDM” then it would be false as you should use !Report and get an admin to look at both cases. In this case you would be taking it into your own hands. Plus it is not fair for the person being demoted as he cannot say his side of the story. You wouldn’t kill someone because they killed you previously.
